Attendance & Tardy Policy
Attendance & Tardy Policies
Students must submit a written excuse to the Attendance Secretary upon their return from an absence; it will be determined by the Attendance Secretary whether or not the absence was excused or unexcused. Absences are recorded as unexcused until the Attendance Secretary updates the record. No makeup work will be given, including tests, for unexcused absences. A zero will be recorded for all assignments missed due to unexcused absences. Consequences for excessive absences include detention and possible loss of credit for a course.
All excuses for student absences should be submitted to Elyssa Robinson, our school's Attendance Secretary.
Students arriving on campus prior to 7:15 am are to report to the cafeteria. Students are not permitted in the school building prior to 6:45 am. Students not involved in a supervised activity are to exit the building immediately after 2:30pm and leave the campus.

If extenuating circumstances occur, and Attendance Waiver can be requested. The Attendance Team will review all waivers submitted by the deadline. Deadlines are November 14 (Fall) and April 15 (Spring). Unexcused absences after the waiver submission deadline may result in the denial of the waiver request.
