Jenkins Student Joins UGA Red Coat Band

We’re proud to share a truly inspiring moment for our community: Jenkins High School student Ethan Shreck was recently invited by the University of Georgia Redcoat Band to join their Friday night rehearsal in Athens. What began as a passion for music turned into a dream-come-true when Ethan stepped into the drum-major role, leading the band for part of their rehearsal. It was a weekend his family — and our whole community — will never forget. 

We’re grateful to the Redcoat Band for making this possible — and proud of Ethan for showing what’s possible when talent, inclusion, and community come together.
